An exercise in ingenious garment construction, the gowns are delicately created using natural dyes to produce an earthy elegance that shows my dedication to sustainable practises. Each piece is an heirloom that may be passed down through generations, bringing Indian textiles and culture to the forefront, while simultaneously promoting and employing craftspeople. There is an intrinsic sense of duality; balancing toughness with femininity, untamed volume with structure and signature statement pieces alongside effortless essentials. Rocky Star believes in Slow Fashion concepts, designing long-lasting and versatile designs that promote a more sustainable and ethical fashion approach.
